Mr. Haines began his study of tae kwon do in 1990.  Receiving his 4th degree black belt on October 22, 2005.   Mr. Haines established the Harrison County Tae Kwon Do School in Lanesville, Indiana on June 15,1995.  Primary style at the school is Chung Do Kwan, Tae Kwon Do. Philosophy, personal development ,and self
defense are also given in classes.
      Mr. Haines served in the US Navy from 1971 to 1975, as an E-5 (second class petty officer) in charge of engineering operations aboard the USS Coontz. Other training included combat training with the elite S.E.A.L. teams for a short interval, in which he learned a mixture of Judo and boxing.
      Mr. Haines presently owns and operates Haines Marketing Concepts &

     Mr. Haines is assisted by Mr. Justin Mason and Miss. Sarah Powell, who hold the rank of second degree black belt. Mr. Haines is also certified as cpr/medic first aid.

Directions From Louisville:  Take I-64 west, then take exit #113, go right after exit onto Crandall-Lanesville Rd.  Turn left on Highway 62  at "T".  Go about two-thirds of the way through town and  turn left into Gresham Park  Go across concrete bridge and veer  to the left.  Harrison County TKD is located in the Lanesville Jay Cees building.
