Mr. Montgomery is a 4th degree black belt certified with T.T.C.A. under direction of Grandmaster Young Sik Choi.  Mr. Montgomery began studying tae kwon do in 1993 at the age of 15.  He then received his 1st degree black belt in American Tae Kwon Do in February of 1996 under instructor, Mr. Richard Leibering of the International Tae Kwon Do Federation. 
     In 1997 Mr. Montgomery transferred to the Jasper School of Tae Kwon Do under instructor, Mr. Stan Keepes and received his 1st degree black belt certification through the Traditional Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Association (TTCA) signed by Grandmaster Young Sik Choi in  2000.
     Mr. Montgomery then went on to receive his 2nd degree black belt certification from TTCA in 2003.
     Mr. Montgomery has participated in many national level tournament competitions and has earned several trophies and medals.  He also a special training certificate in Nunchaku from Grandmaster Choi and has attended black belt seminars given by various TTCA Master Instructors.
     Mr. Montgomery opened the Owensboro school at the Atlantis Health Club in March of 2004 after much thought and approval from Grandmaster Choi and the other TTCA Masters and continues to pass on the knowledge and values taught to him from Grandmaster Choi and all of the TTCA Master Instructors.  Mr. Montgomery is also the co-editor of the TTCA Newsletter, "The Traditional Times".

Directions From Louisville and Southern Indiana:  Take I-64 W.   (71.63 miles)  to the  US-231 exit, exit number 57, towards Dale/Jasper/Hunington  (0.29) miles.  Turn left onto US-231 (25.18 miles).  Stay straight to go onto US-231 S.  (11.58 miles).  Stay straight to go onto US-60 BYP W. (3.80 miles).  Take the KY-2698/Carter Road exit, exit # 3, towards Owensboro (0.40 miles).  Turn sharply left onto Carter Road (1.09 miles).  Atlantis Health Club will be on the left just after the Shell station.
